When can "Amen" begin to speak to us? You will hear It when It is the Name of God. "These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness."
"Amen" means "So be it." Amen speaks of what is. "What is that?", we ask. And we get different answers from different mouths according to their different situations and different perspectives. Amen is what a thing actually is. It is the only true answer to that question and every question. God Is!
"He who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth (Heb. The Amen) and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth (The Amen)." Are you blessed in the earth? If so, you must have found yourselves in Him Who is the "Amen". He must have answered your many questions with Himself.
If "what is" is also "what is not" at the same time, then there is no basis for existence. Therefore it is "impossible for God to lie" - for the Amen to lie. When He speaks, the matter stands fast and it is good enough for us. When He make an oath of confirmation in swearing "by himself", we who "fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us", have "a strong consolation." He is the "Amen, and Amen".
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. ... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:1-4, 14)
