Comment on Evening October 05 of "Daily Light on Daily Path"

Dear friend,

Are we impatient waiting for the glory that shall be revealed? I supposed to a suffering and dying saints where there is nothing much more in this life, they often why the Lord is taking so long in coming to them to bring them home to that wonderful place. But, to those whose eternity is not as real as their present, pleasant experiences, it really doesn't matter very much if the Lord tarries a little longer in coming.

But Heaven is indeed infinitely much better that the best that we can ever experience in this life! No wonder the Lord could spent all night praying to His Heavenly Father! The Apostle Paul wrote about ".. having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: .." (Php 1:23) The Apostle only wish to remain here because of work which the Lord has for him to do yet. Such work would benefit the people of God, and therefore it would be irresponsible on his part not to remain on this earth. What a measure of sweet communion with the Lord the Apostle had and we should long for ourselves!

The wonderful vision of a world, where "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away", is not a lie. "... though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry." We have to wait because the Lord is also waiting.

The Lord is waiting because He "is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentence." There are still many of God's elect who are not converted yet, some may not be even born yet in this life. So, why shouldn't the Lord wait for them to come into existence and the saving knowledge of Christ before that great and glorioud day? Christians are people who are not selfish, but give of themselves first to God and then to their fellowmen. "JOY" means "Jesus", "Others" and "Yourselves". When we do things in that order we are happy and contented.

How shall we know how to love God's image when we do not love Him? Let's walk in sweeter communion with Him and the rest will fall into place according to His design for each of us. Amen.</span>
